This is a tutorial on how to accept the invite assuming you don't already have a G Suite or Google account.
You'll receive an automated email from Google with a link to the share file/folder. In addition, you may receive an email directly from your contact at inDinero. The automated one from Google is likely to end up in your junk/spam, so be on the lookout there if you're anticipating it.
Here's an example email that would come directly from Google. Depending on the email program you use, this will look a bit different. Notice that the "From" address will mention the name of the invitee, but it will save "via Google Drive." The email will actually come from "drive-shared-noreply@google.com."
Click on the Open button. Or, if your contact at inDinero has sent you an email directly with the link, click on that.
You should be redirected to two possible screens:
If you see screen 2, skip ahead to the "Creating an account" section. If you see screen 1, you are most likely already logged into a personal gmail.com account in your web browser. While it's tempting to click "request access," we can't share with personal gmail.com accounts for security reasons. Instead, you'll need to create a Google account using your company email address.
To do so, click "switch accounts" in the screenshot above.
Click "Use another account."
...and now you're ready to create a new Google account using your company email address.
Creating an account:
Click on "create account" and choose the appropriate option. Most likely you'll want to choose "for myself."
At the next screen, make sure to choose the option to "use my current email address instead."
Enter all the required information and click next. Remember to use the email address the invite was sent to.
Google will now email a verification code to the email address you entered. Copy that code and enter it where shown and click "verify."
Enter your mobile number when prompted and click next.
Now, enter the verification code you were texted and click verify.
Enter the additional information they request and click next.
Select your preference for being contacted.
Scroll down and agree to the terms and conditions.
You may feel as if you've just run a 5K, but at last you should have access to the files that have been shared with you.
