As people are periodically working from home, you'll have need to adjust whether or not your RingCentral mobile or computer app rings, how many times, etc. To adjust these settings:

  1. Click on "Settings" at the top
  2. Select "Call Handling & Forwarding"
  3. Adjust settings to the "Desktop & Mobile Apps" section as desired. (See below for more info.)
  4. Save your changes

Under the "Desktop & Mobile" Apps section, you can disable ringing on your mobile app/computer entirely by turning both switches off. Similarly, you can enable them by turning at least the first toggle on and selecting the number of times you'd like your app to ring from the drop down. This sets the number of times your apps will ring before your desk phone starts ringing.

The toggle for "Always ring for at least 30 seconds..." does just that: it forces your mobile app/computer app to ring 30 seconds before your desk phones rings for the first time. I typically recommend turning this off unless you're completely working without your desk phone (at home for example).
