If your Synology server has been setup for remote access using WebDAV, you can access your data via the Finder without needing to first VPN into your network.
- Go to the Finder
- Select the "Go" menu
- Choose "Connect to Server" (or hit command and k for you keyboard jockeys)
- Enter the WebDAV address for your server, which will always start with https://. (Don't know your address? eSend us a note and we'll get you that info.)
- Click "Connect"
